WINTER GARDENS.
Very often winter is seen as the end of garden enjoyment in Toronto.
Those who put a bird feeder out in the garden know that it is just
another busy chapter. It is true, we seldom wonder around the garden
in January or February here in Toronto, but well designed back or front
yard will bring joy even in days when temperature drops below our
acceptable lows. Ornamental grasses, uncut perennials, planters,
statues or just evergreens can change white Canadian winter desert
into a picturesque landscape just behind our windows. Toronto winter
gardens are a complementary element to a good book and a cup of
coffee; these three are all we needed to feel soft and cozy...
